So we made it down to San Fran with no hiccups, and were thrown right into the mix of things. Tara & Chris got us on the Digg 3.0 Release Party guestlist. They held the party at Anu. Open Bar, yeah! Wish our Toronto-startups were likewise-funded!

The Digg project is looking great–though I’m a little sceptical that they will be able to translate their mechanism to topics other than technology. Jay Adelson, Digg CEO, really instills confidence though. Time will tell; we wish them the best.

At the party, we were introduced to Jay by Elizabeth, who is cooking up an interesting project with her husband Morgan called AllTh.at. Great domain name, can’t wait to see it live.

I had a great chat with Tim from CNet (picture at right). Its neat to meet the people behind the sites we all go to everyday.
