Mesh Panel Conversation
The Mesh conference is coming up in less than a week! As John previously mentioned, we are both presenting. John is doing a workshop and I’m going to be participating in a panel conversation.
I met with my fellow panelists - Leila, Michael, and Albert - last night to discuss what we’re going to, um discuss, over some beers. After many disjoint discussions, we decided to discuss stories of failure. (Did I use the word discuss enough?) We’re all young entrepreneurs, and if I may be humble enough to say, know more about what not to do than anything else. What I mean to say is when you get something right, sometimes it’s because you really knew what you were doing, other times it’s luck, but most of the time it’s because you got it wrong before, learnt from your mistake, and got it right. So, what better way to discuss “Creating a Viable Web Business” than to tell stories about how you’re definitely not going to create one.
Let me know if we’re wrong, because we still have some time to change the focus. Tell me what you really want to hear, if this isn’t it!
And, don’t forget to be there. I think there are some tickets still available, and it’s sure to be a great time.
[…] Malgosia posts on what that group is cooking up for their session - stories of failure. A fresh, brilliant point of view to bring to the topic: We’re all young entrepreneurs, and if I may be humble enough to say, know more about what not to do than anything else. What I mean to say is when you get something right, sometimes it’s because you really knew what you were doing, other times it’s luck, but most of the time it’s because you got it wrong before, learnt from your mistake, and got it right. So, what better way to discuss “Creating a Viable Web Businessâ€? than to tell stories about how you’re definitely not going to create one. Related Posts […]
